Gillingham have announced more pre-season opponents including a visit from their old League 1 rivals.
Portsmouth will head to Priestfield on Saturday, July 16 (3pm), two weeks before the start of Gillingham’s League 2 campaign.
It’s a chance for fans to see a new-look team on home soil, with a number of arrivals expected over the summer.
The Gills have already announced a trip to Isthmian League Folkestone on Saturday, July 2 (3pm) and will be playing Dover Athletic at Crabble a week later, on Saturday, July 9 (1pm).
Andy Hessenthaler's Dover will be playing in the National League South next season after relegation from the top-tier of non-league football.
Folkestone just missed out on the Isthmian Premier play-offs this season but face Dartford in the Kent Senior Cup final tonight (Tuesday) at Princes Park.
Gillingham will also play on Saturday, July 23, with that match yet to be announced.
The league season gets under way on Saturday, July 30.
Gillingham players return for pre-season training on Wednesday, June 22 and the league fixtures are released the following day.
