Gillingham fans making the trip to Barrow tonight can enjoy a free drink courtesy of the chairman.
Fans of the Gills face a 660-mile round trip for the League 2 fixture.
Preview: Gillingham in confident mood ahead of Barrow match
A welcome drink will be available at Barrow’s Soccer Bar for those hardy fans making the trip.
US owner Brad Galinson has given the club’s director of operations Joe Comper money for a round.
Galinson, in a message to the fans making their way to Barrow, said: “Unbelievable support from everyone travelling to Barrow.
“We’ve given Joe Comper some money to buy you all a drink in The Soccer Bar next to the stadium. He’ll be at the bar at 6.30!
“All we ask is you make plenty of noise to support our boys. UTG!”
The Gills are back up north tonight just days after playing away at Salford and winning 2-0.
Victory tonight - in a rearranged game after the first was postponed - would be a big boost to the club’s play-off hopes. Hosts Barrow are a point and a place behind them in eighth.
The Gills sold 160 tickets ahead of the clash and fans have welcomed the generosity of their owner.
Mark Gingles described the Galinsons as “the best owners in football” and plenty of others thanked them for the gesture, with Blue Brazil adding on X: “Just when you couldn’t love Brad and Shannon any more.”
