Gillingham have clinched the signing of free-agent Franck Moussa.
The 28-year-old midfielder joins on a deal until the end of the season.
Moussa has been training with the Gills for several weeks and he played in last Tuesday's Kent Senior Cup match against Maidstone United.
Boss Steve Lovell said: “I’m delighted Franck has signed. He certainly has experience which will be of benefit to the team.
"In addition to that he possesses a lot of quality and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
Moussa added: “It’s good to get a deal over the line. I’ve got used to the place and I’m grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given.”
The midfielder has been a free agent since the summer after his release from Walsall.
The Belgian-born midfielder has played for a number of English clubs after first appearing for Southend United as a 16-year-old.
Moussa, now 28 and with a reputation for scoring some spectacular goals, spent two years with Leicester City between 2010 and 2012 and also had spells at Coventry and Charlton before signing for Walsall, after a brief return to Southend.
He played 26 times for Walsall last season, scoring the equalising goal for them at Priestfield - a gift from keeper Jonathan Bond - when the sides shared a 1-1 draw in October 2016.
