Gillingham Football Club have agreed a new long-term sponsorship deal with MEMS Power Generation.
MEMS had previously been long-term backers but ended a 12-year association at the end of the 2022/23 season. They’ve now been welcomed back as main sponsors again.
Company owner and lifelong Gills fan Colin Jarvis said that it had been with great sadness and disappointment that their association had ended back in April 2023 but that’s now been revived.
The club have said a “long-term sponsorship deal” has been agreed to commence from this month, which will see their home ground once again become known as the MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
Mr Jarvis said: “We are delighted to be supporting Gillingham Football Club once again and look forward to being part of the club’s continued rise.
“Our history with Gillingham is filled with memorable moments, and we are eager to create new ones together.”
Gills’ chairman Brad Galinson said: “When you can consider one of the longest standing and most significant Gillingham FC sponsors as a friend and be able to welcome him back home, you know that you are doing something right.
“It is my sincere pleasure and honour to announce MEMS as our main sponsor. Everything seems right again at Gillingham.”
A joint statement added: “This sponsorship marks a significant step for MEMS and Gillingham Football Club, promising mutual growth and success.
“Fans and supporters can look forward to seeing the iconic MEMS logo prominently featured at the stadium, symbolising a shared journey towards excellence.”
