Boss Justin Edinburgh believes he can bring out the best in Bradley Garmston and wants him to stay for another month.
And the 21-year-old left-back is equally keen to stay and learn after his loan deal expired on Saturday.
Edinburgh said: “We are looking to secure Bradley for another month.
“He is a young lad but I have seen a huge amount of talent that is there to work with him.
“I am really looking forward to trying to push him on and develop him because he has all
the attributes to be a top, top left-back.”
Edinburgh played in that position himself and West Brom youngster Garmston is more than happy to stay put.
He said: “I have had a lot of encouragement and support from the manager since he has come in. He has given me a lot of belief as well so that has helped.
“He encourages me to get forward and it is perfect for me to have that experience from him. He has played at the top level and knows what is required.
“He has already told me that I can basically be whatever I want to be but I just have to have the belief, keep working hard and hopefully I can go far.”
