Gillingham have completed the loan signing of West Bromwich Albion’s Bradley Garmston.
The 20-year-old plays left-back and joins initially for a month.
Garmston will come in for his debut on Saturday as replacement for Joe Martin, who has been out with a calf injury.
The player will be available up to and including the match against MK Dons on February 14 and he is eligible for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy second leg match against Bristol City.
Garmston has not featured for Albion this season in their senior side and his last competitive game was with Colchester in 2013, when he spent time on loan at the League 1 club.
He made 13 appearances for Colchester between February and April 2013.
The Gills newcomer has plenty of pace, having been one of UK's fastest junior sprinters several years ago.
His mother, Sonia Lannaman, won 100m gold at the 1978 Commonwealth Games and also enjoyed success at the 1980 Olympics in the relay.
Garmston played for West Brom's first team in pre-season and scored against Port Vale but has yet to make the breakthrough and play in the Premier League.
