Gillingham have signed wideman Callum Harriott on a short-term deal.
The former Colchester, Reading and Charlton winger is eligible to feature in Saturday's FA Cup Second Round tie at Dagenham.
But his lack of match action means it remains to be seen whether Gills boss Neil Harris will include Harriott in his goalshy squad.
Gillingham sit in the bottom two of League 2 and have scored just six goals in 19 games this season. They've gone 464 minutes without scoring a league goal.
"I am hoping I can bring magic in a game and help with goals and assists," said Harriott. "I will always work hard, I am not too far away in terms of fitness.
"I've been training, I will build myself up so I can do what I need to do."
Gillingham co-chairman Paul Fisher said: "I am absolutely delighted to welcome Callum to the football club.
"We look forward to getting him up to speed and seeing him in a Gills shirt sooner rather than later."
Harriott was a youth product at Charlton and went on to make nearly 100 appearances for the Addicks before signing for Reading in 2016. He moved to Colchester in 2019, making 87 appearances and scoring 19 times before leaving in the summer of 2021.
