Gillingham manager Steve Evans has made his second signing at Priestfield after landing Jack Bonham.
The keeper joins the Gills on a two-year deal after his release from Championship side Brentford.
Bonham is no stranger to Priestfield having played against the Gills while on loan at Bristol Rovers last season.
Manager Evans has made his first signing last month when defender Connor Ogilvie returned to the club on a permanent basis after agreeing a two-year deal
He said: "I am delighted to get the deal done. It's been going on for a couple of weeks now and just thankful to get it over the line. I'm excited for the start of the season.
"I'd like to think of myself as a consistent goalkeeper. I've still got things to work on and get better at, but hopefully I bring my best to Gillingham."
Bonham started his career at Watford before joining Brentford but, with first-team chances limited, he spent all of last season at Bristol Rovers, keeping 18 clean sheets. The 25-year-old spent the previous campaign on loan at Carlisle.
He replaces Tomas Holy, who left Gillingham to join Ipswich after his contract expired at the end of the season.
