Gillingham will travel to Stoke City for next week's Carabao Cup third round contest.
The Gills won through to the third round on Tuesday night after defeating Championship side Coventry City on penalties.
Stoke beat Premier League Wolves on Thursday night at Molineux, winning 1-0, thanks to a late goal from Jacob Brown.
The fourth round draw also took place on Thursday evening. The winners of Stoke and Gillingham will play away to either Bristol City or Aston Villa.
The match at Stoke's bet365 Stadium will take place on Wednesday, September 23, with a 7pm kick off.
Priestfield boss Steve Evans has already said he has no interest in who they play in round three as he's putting everything into the league campaign this season.
Speaking on Tuesday night, before knowing his third round opponents, he said: "I have never been to Stoke, other than to watch games.
"The boys deserve the opportunity to play at one of those great stadiums. It is just a shame again it will be empty.”
Gillingham beat Southend United in the opening round - a game which kicked off their competitive 2020/21 campaign - before defeating Coventry City on penalties.
On Saturday the Gills travel to Wigan Athletic in the league but they're short of numbers, having lost Stuart O'Keefe to a broken leg in the week.
