Gillingham will have a new goalkeeper coach for the season ahead.
Glen Johnson arrives to take over from departed coach Ian Pledger.
Pledger stayed on as coach when former boss Justin Edinburgh left midway through last season.
Johnson will be working with big Czech keeper Tomas Holy and Stuart Nelson, who remains transfer-listed. Young keeper Tom Hadler is also on the club’s books.
Newcomer Johnson, who owns the goalkeeper glove-brand company PRO-GK, spent last season with National League side Boreham Wood.
