Invicta Dynamos let a three-goal third period lead slip away on Sunday evening as they drew 5-5 with Streatham Redskins at the Gillingham Ice Bowl.

Boasting a full bench, with Glen Jackson in goal, Invicta went behind inside three minutes before Milan Kostolny and Martin Melichercik shot the home side ahead.

Ed Koral equalised for the Redskins before the first break, but with goals from Adam Copland and Elliot Andrews at the end of the second period, Invicta looked to be on the way to another victory.

The points seemed secure at 44.09 when Tim Smith made it 5-2. But Invicta’s recent trait of making things difficult for themselves returned as Joe Johnston, Martin Lambert and Perry Richardson scored in the last 15 minutes to retrieve a point for the resurgent away side.

Invicta drop to sixth in ENIHL South 1 after the result and face a double-header weekend, away to Peterborough on Saturday and at home to league leaders Oxford on Sunday
