Invicta Dynamos bolstered their roster ahead of the January deadline with a familiar face back at the club.
Owen Dell will be skating for the Mos once more after returning from a stint at the Hershey Cubs in America.
The 20-year-old flew back home on Tuesday and was quickly in contact with Dynamos’ head coach Karl Lennon.
His registration was agreed before the deadline and will be able to ice for the Mos this Sunday when they host Milton Keynes Thunder at Planet Ice, Gillingham.
Dell came through the youth system at Invicta having first joined as a 16-year-old. He quickly made it to the senior side where he had a big impact and in 2021 moved to America, returning home with added experience.
He told the club: “Karl and the boys have had a good start to the season and I’m looking forward to getting involved and doing my best to help the team to succeed in the back end of the year.
“My two seasons in Hershey were unforgettable times. I learnt a lot playing in a fast paced, physical league. I’m hoping the experience I gained can help me play my part in the teams success.”
Lennon believes Dell will “add excitement to the roster” and was looking forward to working with a “young, driven hockey player that wants to play for his home club. He’s a very talented young man.”
