Isthmian League round-up: Chatham put seven past Bognor in Premier Division rout while South East high-fliers Sittingbourne score three in first five minutes against AFC Croydon

Visitors Chatham put seven past Bognor Regis as Kevin Hake’s side made it 12 goals in their last two Isthmian Premier games.

There were doubles for John Ufuah and Jack Evans, with Kasim Aidoo opening the scoring and Freddie Sears also on target as Chats led 6-0 at the break.

Sears scored again midway through the second half before Siyabonga Ligendza pulled a goal back with 12 minutes remaining, 7-1 the final score as Chats followed last weekend’s 5-0 win over Whitehawk with another big win.

Folkestone’s four-match winning run is over, losing 1-0 to an injury-time Andrew Briggs goal at Whitehawk.

They drop a place to sixth while Dartford climb to ninth after continuing their unbeaten run with a 3-0 win at Hastings.

Samir Carruthers’ penalty gave Ady Pennock’s men a half-time lead, Jeremiah Pinder made it two and Eddie Dsane added an injury-time clincher.

Sittingbourne scored three times in the opening five minutes of their Isthmian South East game against AFC Croydon.

An extraordinary start saw Joe Boachie break the deadlock after two minutes, with Troy Howard making it two and Ryan Kingsford adding a penalty.

Nya Kirby replied from the spot but it finished 3-1 as the Brickies maintained their 100% home league record with a 10th successive win at Woodstock, scoring 41 goals and conceding just three.

They move above Beckenham into second, eight points behind leaders Ramsgate, who came from a goal down to beat Erith Town 3-1 at Southwood.

TJ Jadama cancelled out George Goodwin’s early opener and Joe Taylor struck twice before half-time, as Ben Smith’s side continued their relentless form.

Margate remain fourth after goals from Max Walsh and Ibrahim Olutade in a 2-0 victory at bottom side Phoenix Sports.

They had former Dartford defender and Love Island star Ronnie Vint in their starting line-up, with skipper Harry Hudson absent.

Sheppey moved back into the final play-off spot with Victor Aiye’s first-half strike earning a 1-0 home win over Eastbourne Town.

Ashford United’s fourth-match winning streak ended with a 2-0 defeat at fellow form side Merstham.

Deal remain the only side in the division yet to draw a match this season, winning eight and losing 11 of their 19 games since promotion.

Herne Bay made it back-to-back wins with a 1-0 victory over high-flying Beckenham.

Danny Parish scored twice in four minutes early in the second half but the Cannons couldn’t force a winner against a Town side who had defender Delwin Duah sent off at the death.
