Despite losing players who progressed to Super League outfit London Broncos, Medway Dragons Rugby League under-16s enjoyed a year of unprecedented success which saw them crowned Junior team of the year.

Player Connor Nayler said: “It was quite a surprise to win the award. Our strength was the quality of players who came into the side. We won the treble which was the first time that had been done.”
