Striker Danny Kedwell has made a surprise move to Southern Counties East side Hollands & Blair.
Former Gillingham front-man Kedwell. 37, has been a target for a number of clubs this summer but has opted to play in what was formerly the Kent League.
Hollands & Blair are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and have described the signing as the biggest in their history.
Kedwell was a key man in taking AFC Wimbledon into the Football League and went onto score 40 league goals for the Gills during his three and a half years at his boyhood club.
Since then the popular front-man has played for Ebbsfleet United, scoring over 50 league goals for them, before helping to take Havant & Waterlooville to the National South play-offs in 2019/20.
Kedwell scored 11 goals in 25 appearances for Havant but was denied promotion after losing to Dartford in the semi-finals.
The striker is no stranger to grassroots football, starting his career in the Kent non-league scene with spells at Tonbridge Angels, Lordswood, Herne Bay and Welling United before his professional career took off.
