Gillingham boss Mark Stimson is ready to shake up his strike force in a bid to get the club's promotion assault back on track.
Stimson saw his side fall to a second successive defeat on Saturday and it was another blank day in front of goal.
The lack of potency in attack is a concern for Stimson and the player to make way could be 14-goal top scorer Simeon Jackson.
Jackson, without a goal from open play in nine league games, was substituted against Rotherham during Saturday's 2-0 defeat.
Dennis Oli and Gary Mulligan were brought on as replacement strikers and their bright showing has given Stimson a selection dilemma ahead of Tuesday's game at home to Aldershot.
He said: “They’ve given themselves a good chance. They both looked bright, they won flick-ons and they got in behind.
“It might do the kid (Jackson) a bit of good to sit and watch on the bench for an hour.
“We know we have to do better in front of the opposition goal, test the keeper more and ask more questions of their back four. If you don’t do that, you’re not going to win games.
“What we have to add to our game now is more of a threat around the 18-yard box and whoever gets that opportunity now as a striker, if they take it, they can make themselves a hero at the end of the season."
