Back fully fit for 2017/18 after a previous campaign that was wrecked by injury. The former Manchester United youngster was out for six months after snapping an ankle in pre-season. He made a quicker than expected return from injury and was handed the captain's armband by head coach Ady Pennock after impressing in the build-up to the new League 1 season. Scored his first Gills goal with the winner against Peterborough in October, in Steve Lovell's first game as interim boss.
