Gillingham now know all 23 teams who they will be facing next season following Blackpool’s League 2 play-off win over Exeter.
And fans attending every away game will clock up more than 8,000 miles, with Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road a 560-mile round trip - only eight miles shorter than the longest away trip of the campaign, Fleetwood Town.
With Plymouth (510 miles) also winning promotion from League 2, along with relegated Championship teams Blackburn (532), Wigan (489) and Rotherham (408), the Gills certainly haven’t gained any extra local rivals.
Charlton is once again the shortest round trip, at 58 miles, but promotion for Millwall means the next shortest distance for Gills fans is Southend (90).
Fixtures are out on June 21, so fans will be able to start plotting their way around the country, hoping this coming campaign gives them plenty more to shout about.
