Medway Area Sunday League round-up (3/10/21)

Tommy Davey and Brad Briggs both struck twice as Medway Sport thumped Cliffe Woods Colts 5-0 in the Super League.

Louis Crompton scored twice for Cliffe Woods Rangers but they conceded seven at the other end against Intergills.

Billy Cobb (3), Usan Amin (2), Jason Yuen (5), Niall Cullen, Steve Gikes (2), Neil Parkes (4) and Ben Silvester (3) got the goals.

Declan Cook and Scott Small were the Rochester goalscorers in their 2-0 win over Cantium.

In Division Three, Rainham Eagles and Medway Rovers 20 shard the points in a 3-3 draw.

Nick Cooper and Cy Boorman (2) scored for the Eagles while Ryan Davies, David Little and Tom Fuller struck for Rovers.

Bredhurst Juniors United won 3-0 against London Road in Division 4 thanks to David Lawanson, John Clarkson and Tyler Bell.

Doubles from Simon Moody and Danny Stevens brought home the points for Tunbury Athletic, winning 4-2 against Swallow Rise 93 Reserves who had their own double man in Michael Acard.

Pegasus 81 beat The Stumble 6-0.

In the Senior League Cup, Eagles lost 3-2 to Anchorians. Callum Sawyer and Ben Church scored for the beaten side.

Anchorians United ran out 4-1 winners over Five Bells in the Junior League Cup. Caleb Afoke, Ross Okeowo, Ife Famoriyo and Charlie Field scored the winning goals.

Cliffe Woods Colts Reserves came out on top against Cliffe Woods Colts A, winning 4-1 thanks largely to a hat-trick from Ashley Trigg.

Matt Norman’s goal was not enough for Cross Park as they went down 3-1 to Swale Madrid, who scored through Alfie Willet, Alfie Constable and Charley Davis.

Omega 92 won 5-4 after extra-time thanks to Daniel Lee (2), Jamie Nash (2) and William Rowlands in their game at Medway Invicta.

Louis Creed and Callum Battrum’s goals were not enough as Milton & Fulston United lost 4-2 to Swallow Rise 93. Allen Bangura (2), Kane Parkes and Caleb Luckhurst scored for the winners.

Kieran Wells (3), Aman Gill, Thomas Ludlow and Anthony Perkin were on target for AFC Shorne in their 6-1 Junior League Trophy win against The Stag.

Owen Lampard and Anthony Bridge scored for Kent Marina Gunners as they were shaded 3-2 by Milton & Fulston Zebras, whose goals came from Stephen Boorman, Louis Jones and James Knight.

There was a hat-trick for Billy Shepherd as Eagles Gold defeated Medway Sport XI 6-4. Bailey Hooker, Leo Cross and Ryan Rose also scored while Sean Webb, Brandon Berry, Charlie Anderson and Lee Freeman netted for Medway.

Riverside Academy progressed to the next round of the Kent Junior Cup with a 3-0 win over Gillingham Town thanks to Hans Mogere, Emiljon Vathi and Asabere Boateng.

Thamesview Rangers beat Rochester Eagles 6-1 in the Kent Junior Trophy with goals from Jake Griffiths (2), Connor Rayfield, Kosh Govia and Jack Hardy (2).
