Medway Area Sunday League round-up (27/03/22)

John Brown scored a hat-trick as Chatham Town SR enjoyed a 9-1 win against Eagles in the Super League. Sam Stace (2), Jack Couzens (2), Max Morgan and Ben Percy were also on target, with Max Smith scoring a consolation.

Two-goal Emmanuel Oli led the way as Bells ran out 4-0 winners over Cliffe Woods Rangers. Ola Kalhindi and David Amary joined him on the scoresheet.

Darland Spartans lost to two Michel Jenner penalties for Quested, while Aaron Lorentson and Nick Hadris netted for Medway Sport in their 2-1 win over Borden Park Wanderers.

Hempstead United and Thamesview FC drew 1-1 in their Division 1 clash. Connor Stickings scored for Hempstead with Louis Dunkerley replying for Thamesview.

There were doubles for Harvey Sanderson, Matthew Pemberton and Jamie Nash, with Lee Gambell completing the scoring, in Omega 92's 7-1 win against New Brompton 1893.

In Division 2, leaders Cliffe Woods Colts Reserves consolidated their position with a 4-1 win against Gillingham Town thanks to Ainsley Linton, Eddie Pemberton (2) and Thomas Mitchell.

Bredhurst Juniors lost 5-2 to second-placed Swale Madrid FC. Archie Martindill, Jack Shaw, Lewis Baker, Lee Browning and George Baker-Moran got the goals.

Jamie Blackham scored for Cantium FC but they suffered a 3-1 loss to Medway Invicta.

Samuel Heard (2), Sam Allen and Jacob Dansie found the net for FC Catalans to seal a 4-1 victory over Palmerston Athletic.

Jack Eagle scored for Medway United Central but Anchorians United showed no mercy as Caleb Afoke (5), Ife Famoriyo (3), Danny Haley (3), Jake Potter and Samuel Akinnawo ensured a 13-1 win.

Declan Cook scored for Rochester but they suffered a 2-1 defeat to The Walnut Tree, whose goals came from Ben Silvester and Billy Cobb.

Charlie Hetterley’s goal was not enough in Division 3 as Bredhurst went down 3-1 to Rainham Eagles, Nick Cooper and Liam Baker (2) scoring for the victors.

Ben Smith, Billy Bleach (4), Markus Jarmak (2) and Ross Bennington were all on target for Medway United West in their 8-0 win at Fleur-De-Lis.

Jack Thompson scored a brace and Terry Clark was also on target in second-placed Pentagon Reserves' 3-1 victory over Medway Rovers 20 (Shane Mitchell).

Leaders Real 60 defeated Eagles Gold 2-1 with Blake Cavender scoring both goals.

In Division 4 Scott Barnes and Nathan Young struck for Medway Knights but they were shaded 3-2 by AFC Shorne thanks to Marcus Sutton (2) and Aaron Wigg.

Lee Freeman and Liam Banbury netted for Medway Sport in their 2-2 draw with London Road, Scott Califano and Kieran Nash sealing a point for the visitors.

Jake Stephens (2), Aaron Parkes (2), Richard Cobern and Sam Clarkson netted for The Stag in their 6-0 victory over Tunbury Athletic, while Reif Youdale bagged a hat-trick, with Leytan Grace and Lewis Johnson also on the scoresheet, in The Stumble's 5-0 win over Milton & Fulston Zebras.
