Invicta Dynamos begin their NIHL South Division 1 campaign this weekend.
The Mos have gone three years without a trophy but head coach Kevin Parrish has rebuilt his squad to make a challenge at the top this season.
They start their National South Division 1 season with a home game against London Raiders on Sunday (5.15pm).
Juraj Huska returns from a ban to face his old team. The Slovakian forward has been sitting on the sidelines for the Dynamos over the last few weeks serving a ban from last season.
The Raiders have re-formed over the summer under the London banner, following the demise of Romford Raiders. It was at Romford where Huska hit 210 goals and 168 in 141 appearances.
Parrish is full of optimism for the coming league campaign. A 6-6 draw with reigning champions Chelmsford Chieftains in the Southern Cup on Sunday, having trailed 4-0, showed signs that the current crop of players have what it takes.
The Mos head coach said: “The boys have gelled together well and there were good signs. We’ve been three years without a trophy and the fans have been loyal."
He added: “We’ve got a good bunch and everyone has a role to play. Everyone is talented and we’ve got a good mix. Some people questioned whether we would have too many egos but Sunday showed that they are up for it and that they want to play for this club.”
