Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish believes new signing Jakub Klima will give his side an extra edge when the season starts in September.
The 23-year-old Czech import has left Streatham Redskins to join the Mos for the new NIHL South Division 1 campaign.
Klima was brought to the UK by Chelmsford Chieftains in 2011 and his first season in English hockey yielded 34 goals from 39 appearances.
He helped the Essex side finish runners-up in the NIHL’s top tier and then moved on to Streatham. He was the stand-out performer for the south London club last season, netting 39 of their 134 goals.
Parrish said: “In his two previous seasons in the NIHL South, Jakub has proven himself to be among the best in this division.
“He has pace to burn, quick hands and a lethal finish that saw him prove deadly on the breakaway – something we witnessed several times first-hand when he was icing against us for both Chelmsford and Streatham.
“He plays good, fast-paced hockey and I’ve no doubt his goalscoring prowess will be a huge asset for us in 2013/14”.
He added: “Jakub’s signing completes our non-British quota and I’m delighted to have both him and Juraj Huska on the books for the new term."
