DAVID GRAHAM is hoping to help guide Gillingham back to where he feels they both belong.
The 28-year-old striker became the latest of Ronnie Jepson’s summer recruits, following his release from Sheffield Wednesday, and he’s determined to make a quick return to the Championship.
"Obviously I feel I can play at a higher level and if I can do that with Gillingham then great," he said.
"My time at Sheffield Wednesday wasn’t the best but that’s in the past. I have a point to prove but if you didn’t you wouldn’t be playing.
"It’s been a long drawn out couple of weeks for me and I’m glad to have got it over and done with.
"You’ve got to aim high and we’re looking for automatic promotion."
