It was a case of one in, one out at Gillingham on Friday.
Shortly after the loan arrival of striker Jacob Wakeling was announced, the Gills confirmed that Ashley Nadesan was heading for National League Sutton United.

Nadesan was one of four players to be told they were free to leave, at the end of last season.
Now only George Lapslie and Oli Hawkins remain, with Scott Malone joining Crawley Town at the end of May.
Nadesan scored just three goals in 34 appearances and new boss Mark Bonner has been keen to freshen up the Gillingham forward line following three seasons where goals have been hard to come by.
Departing striker Nadesan joined the Gills last summer from Crawley Town and will now spend the 2024/25 season at Sutton, who were relegated from League 2 last season.
Sutton head coach Steve Morison said: “Bringing Nadders to Sutton United is a significant boost for our squad.
“His pace, energy, and goal-scoring ability will be vital for us this season.
“Ashley is a player we’ve had our eye on for a while, and his friendship with Harry Ransom and our first team coach Jon Meeney played a crucial role in making this move happen”.
The Gills play away at Woking tomorrow (Saturday) and are set to include new signing Wakeling in their squad.
