Connor Ogilvie was the only survivor from Gillingham's FA Cup line-up last weekend when they took on Crawley – and he made the most of his extra opportunity.
Ogilvie claimed his first man-of-the-match accolade since turning pro after a solid performance in central defence.
He said: "I thought we passed the ball well, we turned them at times and caused them problems. It was a good game. Connor Ogilvie was the only survivor from Gillingham's FA Cup line-up last weekend when they took on Crawley – and he made the most of his extra opportunity.

"I was delighted for Stevo. It was a lovely touch to take it away from the defender and he slotted it into the bottom corner, which is good for him,
"The young lads have that grit in them and all credit to them.
"It was nice to be that senior player. Every time I step onto the pitch I want to lead and do my best for the club."
Gillingham were unable to qualify from their Checkatrade Trophy group whatever the result on Tuesday, but the game meant extra minutes for Spurs loanee Ogilvie.
His young team-mates at Tottenham are through, progressing as runners-up in Gills' group, and he, along with his colleagues in north London, has benefited from the Trophy competition even if it's not been popular among fans.
He said: "Any game you play, whether it's at the training ground or whatever, you have to want to win. You could see that with the attitude of the boys.
"To play in stadium games, it is experience that you can't get at the training ground. They are worth playing and worth working your socks off for. It is about getting minutes."
Next up for the Gills is a game against fourth-from-bottom Oxford in League 1.
"It is a big game," said Ogilvie.
"We want to keep them below us, take the three points and to give the fans a performance.
"You want to pick up as many wins as possible, it keeps the momentum going. Hopefully we can go on a good run. Who knows where it could take us."
