Leyton Orient have snapped up Gillingham’s former midfielder Ouss Cisse.
The Frenchman has signed a two-year contract with the League 2 club.
Cisse joined the Gills last summer following his exit from MK Dons but after starting the first two games of the season he never appeared for the club in the league again.
His three other appearances for the Gills came in the Football League Trophy while he was an unused sub on nine other occasions.
The season wasn’t a complete write-off, however, as a January loan move to Orient led to plenty of football and a successful spell has landed him a permanent move to the east London club.
Orient said the player had “an array of clubs battling for his signature” but they have won the chase for the 29-year-old.
“When I had the opportunity to come back I said yes straight away,” Ouss told the O’s fans.
