Rochester & Cobham’s Jack Lee has been named in England Golf boys’ team for this week’s Home Internationals.
Lindrick Golf Club, in Yorkshire, will host the internationals for three days from Tuesday (August 8).
Lee is one of nine boys selected, earning his first Home Internationals’ call-up.
His selection comes following back-to-back Peter McEvoy Trophy wins in 2022 and 2023.
England Boys have won the Home Internationals 20 times, including all of the last six events.
Performance Manager for Men’s Golf, Stephen Burnett, said: “We have picked what we feel is the strongest team with players who are in fantastic form.
“We’re looking forward to the tournament, which will be the last England Boys’ Home Internationals for seven of the nine players.”
Lee is joined in the team by Hugh Adams (Hagley GC, Worcestershire), Josh Berry (Doncaster GC, Yorkshire), Sam Easterbrook (Olton GC, Warwickshire), Frazer Jones (Kirby Muxloe GC, Leicestershire), Kris Kim (Walton Heath GC, Surrey), Harry Malin (Bognor Regis GC, Sussex), Jake Plumb (The Gog Magog GC, Cambridgeshire) and Drew Sykes (Golf at Goodwood, Sussex).
Over the course of three days, each nation (England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland) will play each other once to decide who takes home the title.
Last year Lee was selected to the England boys’ squad to take part in winter training camps building towards a busy year of competition in 2023.
