Lordswood have sacked joint-managers Ross Wiles and Lee Garlinge after just four-and-a-half months in charge.
The news was revealed by the Southern Counties East League Premier Division basement boys on Sunday, less than 24 hours after their 2-1 home loss against Tunbridge Wells.
That was a fourth successive defeat for the Lords, who have won only once since November 30.
“We can confirm that we have taken the decision to part ways with our joint-managers Ross Wiles and Lee Garlinge,” said chairman Ray Broad. “We would like to thank them both for their hard work and efforts over the last four-and-a-half months.
“We wish them the very best for the future.”
In a gracious message, Wiles commented on his exit, writing on social media: “Nothing but respect for the club.
“A great club with great people behind the scenes. Thank you for the opportunity.
“[I] wish you all the best, moving forward.”
Elliott Moore put Lordwood into an 18th-minute advantage against Tunbridge Wells, but two second-half strikes by Regan Corke flipped the game on its head, before 22-goal top scorer Elliott Duncan was dismissed for a second caution late on at Martyn Grove.
Former Gillingham player and assistant Nicky Southall started the season at the helm of the Medway outfit, only to leave in November and be replaced by Wiles - an ex-Sheppey United head of youth - and Garlinge.
Lordswood, six points from safety but with a match in hand on second-bottom Snodland and two in hand on third-bottom Lydd, will return to action at fifth-placed Fisher next weekend.
