Gillingham defender Robbie McKenzie is the latest player to extend his contract at the club.
The former Hull City full-back, 24, has agreed to a new deal although no announcement has been made of the length of the contract.
McKenzie has been with the Gills since the summer of 2020 and has clocked up over 100 league appearances for the club.
He told the club: "I'm delighted to have signed a new deal before the end of the season. The club is heading in the right direction, the fans here are superb and I want to be a part of what is an exciting project.
"However, I am keen to finish this season on a high, starting against Newport at home on Saturday."
This week the Gills have also announced new deals for midfielder Shaun Williams and goalkeeper Glenn Morris.
Defender Max Ehmer and Cheye Alexander have also had their deals extended.
