Gillingham’s coaching staff will be choosing their team carefully for their Kent Senior Cup quarter-final tie.
The Gills host Ryman League Premier Division Tonbridge Angels on Monday for a place in the semi-finals.
With matches against Bristol City and Walsall coming up in the next few days, coach Steve Lovell admits they will have to be careful with whom they choose for this encounters.
“We are going to play mainly a development side,” Lovell confirmed.
“There are a few boys who need a run-out. We have to be careful with us having the game on Thursday and then the game against Walsall on Sunday.
“We need to manage the players’ minutes and make sure we don’t overdo it.”
Out-of-favour striker Antonio German could feature while Amine Linganzi, who is returning from a hamstring injury, could also play a part.
Tickets for the tie cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Kick-off is at 7pm.
