Holcombe Men completed a sixth straight Premier Division victory on Saturday.
In the final round of phase one fixtures, ahead of the Super 6s indoor campaign, Holcombe beat Beeston 4-2 at home.
Holcombe ended the first phase of the Premier Division season sitting second in the table behind an Old Georgians side who have won all 11 of their games.
Beeston took the lead from an 11th-minute penalty corner on Saturday but Teague Marcano scored the first of his three to level it up for Kwan Browne’s Holcombe side.
A quickfire double from Marcano put Holcs 3-1 ahead with 44 minutes played - taking his season tally to 14 goals - and although Beeston got on the scoresheet again, Samuel Taylor gave the home side breathing space once again as he converted the rebound from Marcano’s flick
Earlier in the day, Holcombe Women had left it late to clinch a share of the spoils in their home game against the University of Nottingham.
The 1-1 draw ended a run of three straight defeats for Brad Read’s side.
Captain Robyn Hodges struck on 53 minutes from a penalty corner to cancel out the University’s early effort, a field goal scored after just nine minutes on the clock.
Holcombe ended the first phase second from bottom in the table.
Phase two sees the bottom six sides and the top six sides split when Premier Division action resumes in the new year.
The Super 6s are up next, played over three weekends in January, starting on the first weekend of the year, with Holcombe Men competing in the Premier Division and the women in Division 1.
