Gillingham's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Bristol City has been switched after being selected for live television coverage.
Their league game at Walsall has also been moved following the Trophy announcement.
The southern area final first leg took place at Priestfield on Tuesday with Bristol City running out 4-2 winners.
But the return leg will now be shown live on Sky Sports and will be played on Thursday, January 29 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Although the Gills trail by two goals, away goals do not count double and extra-time will not be played. Therefore, a two-goal Gills victory would see the tie decided by a penalty shoot-out.
The winners of the tie will play either Preston or Walsall at Wembley in the final. Walsall won the first leg 2-0.
Gillingham were due to visit Walsall on the Saturday after their JPT game but that had now moved to the Sunday (February 1), with a 6pm KO.
It is understood that the 6pm kick-off is due to the fact a market takes place at Walsall's Bescot Stadium on Sundays, between 9am and 4pm.
