Gillingham were always my No.1 choice once Cardiff said they wanted me to go back out on loan.
The gaffer at Gillingham showed his interest in me, it never faded away and I like that.
Ask any player, as soon as a manager shows that he trusts you or he wants you around his squad, it makes you want to play harder for them.
The manager knows what I can do. He tells me to go out and perform to the best of my ability and I enjoy playing for him. He has the confidence in me and when a player knows that, it brings out the best in you.
During my return to Cardiff I kept in touch with the boys and took an interest in how the team were doing. I have made a lot of friends here and it was an easy decision to come back.
The first week back we went to the Cheltenham races, it’s the first time I had been. I am not really into racing but it was a good day out with the boys and a good team bonding exercise.
I made one bet at the start and won £10 and that’s about it, I didn’t know what I was doing and after that I just started eating and eating and eating!
It was a good day, some of the players made some good money and some of the players lost some good money!
Max Ehmer and Aaron Morris seemed to know what they were doing, I don’t know how but they would say a horse would be good and it would win!
My first game back after re-joining on loan was against Southend on Saturday and I had a chance to score the winner.
I thought it was going to creep in. I closed my eyes and went for the ball. Luke Norris was coming in for it as well. Had I left the ball he might have scored but at the time I just dived in and it was one of those things.
