The mood in the camp is positive, especially after Saturday.
The boys know how well we played against Charlton and for one reason or another, we didn’t win it.
We definitely deserved the win and that was the best we have played in a while now.
We had two penalty shouts and definitely one of them on Cody McDonald should have been given.
It was a good result but we could have done better. It was a good performance from the boys and we’re confident now looking ahead to Fleetwood.
What we have to do is concentrate even more now in those last minutes of the game, that is where a lot of goals have come from and it is something we are working hard to try and stop.
The whole club wants clean sheets and if you do that you don’t lose a game, you draw or win.
We are confident we will always score a couple of goals but the more clean sheets we can get the better.
We’ve had a few things go against us recently, which hasn’t helped. In the build up to the Bristol Rovers goal, Deji Oshilaja got elbow in the face.
These little things are costing us but it is something we can’t dwell on too much. We just have to be as positive as we can and then we can overcome it.
We felt hard done by after the Charlton game, with decisions that went against us but these things happen in football.
We can’t change it and you keep moving on. We will be positive for Saturday and hopefully can get the result we’re after.
