Medway Rugby Club moved to within a point of the Kent 1 title on Saturday with a stunning 58-0 demolition of Ashford.
Playing at a high tempo, Medway stretched the visitors with good controlled rugby and six first-half tries were just reward for their expansive play.
Darren Kistner (2), Danny Williams, Peter Farrow, Monish Shorne and Billy Humphrey all crossed the line while Glen Wadsworth added two conversions to put Medway 34-0 ahead at half-time.
Second-half tries from Kevin Kimble, Williams and two more from Farrow to complete his hat-trick saw Medway home with Dafydd Ruffell adding two conversions.
Medway coach Taff Gwilliam said: “I was pleased with the victory, not just the scoreline but the manner of it as Ashford showed character and perseverance.
Medway will look to wrap the title up this weekend at Old Olavians but Gwilliam warned: “There are no easy games in this league. Every team is capable of beating any other on their day so nothing is being taken for granted.”
