Boss Ady Pennock confirmed that the 27-year-old would be struggling to kick a ball again this season.
Pennock said: “He will be struggling to come back this season but he is a good healer.

“He has a slight tear in his ankle. Maybe we can get him back for the last week, it depends how he reacts from treatment, but it’s not looking good.”
Wagstaff missed the start of the season after suffering an Achilles injury at Billericay, just eight minutes after taking to the pitch.
The summer signing finally made his Gills debut in September against Bradford but continued to be troubled by injury until finally getting a prolonged run in the team from November onwards.
He has been limited to 28 appearances this season.
