Rory Donnelly insists the Gills won’t be an easy touch for anyone this season.
Gillingham are unbeaten in their opening four matches and the Irishman praised the work done by the management for making their life easier.
“We stuck to the game plan and it went well,” said the 23-year-old, who was making his first Gills start at Bradford.
“We had seen videos before the game of how they were going to set up and play. We all expected them to go route one and the game plan was to get the second balls. I thought we did that well.
“We performed off the ball and on the ball. Everything went well in the first half, even though we went 1-0 down. We didn’t look like losing the game.
“We know how to play and everyone knows their job. Everyone knew we could come back and win.”
The Gills struck twice in the second half to win the match, making it three unbeaten on the road.
“That is down to the manager and the way we have set up,” the striker said.
“He coaches us well. I don’t think anyone is going to find it easy to beat us away from home this season."
