Gillingham's pre-season game at Welling United has been cancelled but new opponents have been found.
The Gills will instead take a team to Bostik League side Whitstable Town.
The game against the Wings, scheduled for Tuesday, July 17, was called off after the National League South side said they wanted to preserve their pitch during the current dry spell.
A statement on the club's website said: "There are no plans to announce an alternative fixture as we look to preserve the pitch for the season ahead during this prolonged spell of extremely dry weather."
Gillingham do still have a fixture on the 17th, with a game at Dartford.
They will now send a second team to Whitstable the following day, on Wednesday 18th (7.45pm).
On Tuesday the Gills announced that they had added in an extra game to their pre-season schedule, playing away to Colchester United on Saturday, July 28.
This Saturday they have two fixtures, against Tonbridge Angles and Margate, both kicking off at 3pm.
Gillingham have already played four pre-season games. Read the reports here;
