More on KentOnline
The KM Community Treasure Chest has given out its 100th prize to a worthy cause and is appealing for more causes to apply.
The Treasure Chest supports the fund-raising activities of charities and good causes throughout Kent and has the backing of the county's top attractions.
Stocks Green School Association, Tonbridge, struck gold when it received the 100th prize for its summer fair in June of a family entry ticket to the Howletts or Port Lympne Wild Animal Park. The association can now offer this prize at the fair and bring in some much needed extra cash to its coffers.
As well as the Howletts and Port Lympne Animal Parks, other prize donors for the scheme include Leeds Castle, the Hop Farm, Historic Dockyard, Chatham, the Gills and P&O European Ferries.
We have still got a myriad of prizes to give away from the KM Treasure Chest and they could be worth their weight in gold to your charity or community cause. Many worthwhile causes have already applied and benefited from our great giveaway.
