Take part in the 20 anniversary KM Charity Walk and enjoy the great outdoors says Maidstone-based open air activity specialist.
Cotswold Outdoor Maidstone, which provides clothing and equipment for open air activities including hiking, cycling, kayaking and climbing, is urging people to sign up for the annual KM Charity Walk in its milestone year.
The walk, organised by the KM Charity Team, is being staged on Sunday, June 28. Participants can choose from a five-mile or 10-mile route through beautiful Maidstone countryside with a BBQ and live music at the finish line.
Ian Foster from Cotswold Outdoor said: “We are delighted to support such a great fundraising event as it reaches its 20 anniversary. Supporting the KM Charity Walk allows us to continue to provide our customers with as much opportunity to be involved in the outdoors as possible.
“We are thrilled to be involved and look forward to seeing all participants at the event in June.”
The KM Charity Walk, also supported by Specsavers, begins at the Grade II listed mansion Mote House in Maidstone and the 10-mile route goes past historic Leeds Castle.
All walkers will receive a goody bag and medal as a souvenir and children under 16 go free when booking online.
Event organiser Sophie Wallace of the KM Charity Team said: “We’re celebrating two decades of the KM Charity Walk with two spectacular walking routes and a garden party with BBQ, drinks and a live string quartet.
“Don’t miss a very special event and a great opportunity to raise funds for any good cause of your choice.”
