Quizzers will get a little help from the angels at the mammoth KM Big Charity Quiz being staged on Friday, November 17.
The Maidstone branch of Office Angels will act as runners for the wine and wisdom style evening taking place at Maidstone Leisure Centre. The event, organised by the KM Charity Team, is a fundraiser to support the Leybourne Grange Riding Centre for the Disabled.
A share of the proceeds will also go to school services supporting child literacy and road safety across the district.
Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “The temps from Office Angels are a joy to work with year after year. They ensure the event runs smoothly and it wouldn’t be the same without them.”
Quiz teams will receive substantial nibbles and a bottle of wine on the table plus the chance to win prizes including classic collectables from Hornby. One lucky quiz-goer will be selected to answer an on the spot question to win a pair of spa day tickets.
A fully stocked charity bar will be supplied by longtime supporter Shepherd Neame who provide the drinks for each heat of the annual Big Quiz - including events at Medway, Ashford, and Canterbury - ensuring a bumper windfall for charity each year. Other organisations backing the event include Wilkins Kennedy and Barclays bank.
The top teams for each heat will win the KM Big Quiz trophy and a place in the grand final for the champion of champions’ event.
