Rochester based Qube Recruitment has challenged KentOnline readers to a battle of the brains at the KM Big Charity Quiz.
The company is putting forward a team for the wine and wisdom style event being staged at the St George Hotel in Chatham on Friday, March 27. Proceeds raised on the night will benefit the charity Abigail’s Footsteps as well as the children’s road safety service of the KM Charity Team.
Natalie Winter from Qube said: “We are pleased to be sponsoring the KM Big Quiz for another year and are proud to be supporting Abigail’s Footsteps.
“These events are great fun and do a fantastic job of assisting local charities which we are keen to be involved in as a local company. So if you want to have a go at competing against Qube Recruitment – book a table at this fantastic event and we’ll see you there!”
Other organisations signed up to support the quiz include Shepherd Neame, Twice as Nice Catering and Barclays.
Participants will pit their wits during seven rounds of brainteasers. Each captain has a joker which can be used for one round only to double the points scored by their team.
The One Ton Cash Cow will be staged at the event with one quiz-goer walking away with £100 in cash if they can answer a special quiz question correctly on the night.
A table for eight people, including complimentary glass of wine or soft drink, ploughman's meal and free entry into a draw to win a PO Ferries voucher, costs £65. Visit www.kmbigquiz.co.uk to book your table and use the early bird discount code MEBQEB15 to reduce the price by £10.
Businesses wanting to support the event by sponsoring a quiz round or donating a raffle prize should contact Simon Dolby on 07989 164 752 or email sdolby@thekmgroup.co.uk.
