Residents and businesses in Medway are being invited to join in a top night out for charity packed with entertainment and prizes – all for under £7 a head.
It’s the 10 anniversary KM Big Charity Quiz being held at the St George Hotel, Chatham on Friday, March 11. The beneficiaries are the Medway Messenger newspaper’s charity of the year Medway Youth Trust, and child road safety services.
Quiz teams will enjoy a night of brainteasers and banter and a prize packed raffle including classic collectables from Hornby. One quiz-goer will have the chance to play ‘Win in 10’ to win a pair of Eurostar tickets.
Any business entering a minimum of three teams will have a prize presented to the top team from their group.
Plus a special prize will go to the top team from the NHS and caring services and a further prize to the top team representing local government and schools.
Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “Gather friends and colleagues for the 10 anniversary KM Big Charity Quiz. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to support good causes in the area.”
Key partners of the event include Barclays bank, which will match funds raised on the night pound for pound, and Specsavers. Shepherd Neame has agreed to supply the popular Spitfire charity bar.
Visit www.kmbigquiz.co.uk to book a team of eight for £65 and use the code MED16 to receive a £10 discount on the price – making it less than £7 per person.
Participants will each receive a complimentary alcoholic or soft drink, nibbles and snacks plus a bottle of wine for the team to share.
