Cricketing legend Ian Botham is in Tunbridge Wells on Sunday as part of his latest charity walk.
Sir Ian, a former Somerset and England player, begins the Tunbridge Wells stage of Beefy’s Great British Walk Against Childhood Leukaemia outside the town's Marks & Spencer store in Calverley Road.
Staff at the store have been fund-raising for the cause and have already collected more than £2,600.
Beefy’s walk is taking in nine UK cities from October 10 to 18 and, for the first time, people will be able to join him on parts of the journey.
His Tunbridge Wells walk starts at 11am when he will walk from M&S to Penshurst Place, near Tonbridge. There he will be joined at 1pm by people have been fund-raising for the charity for a six-mile walk around the grounds.
