Former England cricketer and veteran fund-raiser Sir Ian Botham is inviting people to join him on another sponsored charity walk.

Beefy, as he is nicknamed, will visit nine towns including Tunbridge Wells during his latest fund-raising challenge in aid of Leukaemia Research in October.

Beefy’s Great British Walk - Against Childhood Leukaemia is from October 10 to 18 and, for the first time, people can join him on various stages in exchange for sponsorship. He is expected in Tunbridge Wells on Sunday, October 12, where he will walk 10 miles around the town before going on to Penshurst Place where people can join him for a six-mile walk.
