Road safety services for schools will get a cash windfall thanks to the KM Big Charity Quiz Grand Final.
All funds raised at the event will go towards the award-winning green travel projects for schools run by the KM Group’s charity department. The schemes encourage regular exercise, teach vital road safety skills and reduce traffic congestion and pollution at the school gate.
Organisers are hoping quiz-goers will support pupil health and safety by making the most of the charity bar supplied by Shepherd Neame and bumper prize raffle.
Natalie Winter of Rochester based Qube Recruitment, a key partner of the KM Big Quiz, said: “These events are great fun and do a fantastic job of assisting local charities.”
The grand final will see Medway boffins Fuzzy Ducks, Medway Mail and Female, Let's Get Quizzical and Qube Recruitment go head to head against the brainiest teams from Canterbury, Maidstone and Ashford.
Altogether 16 teams will compete for the KM Big Quiz Champions Trophy on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Godmersham and Crundale Village Hall, Canterbury.
Booking is now open for the Medway heat of the 2016 KM Big Quiz being staged at St George Hotel, Chatham on Friday, March 11 and the Canterbury heat at the University of Kent Sports Centre on Friday, April 22.
