MHA MacIntyre Hudson is making a bid for the trivia champions’ trophy at the Canterbury heat of the KM Big Charity Quiz.
The chartered accountants are putting forward a team for the wine and wisdom style event being staged at the University of Kent’s Sport Centre on Friday, April 24. Proceeds raised on the night will benefit homelessness charity Catching Lives, the Kent and Canterbury Hospital’s League of Friends, and road safety services for children.
Richard Kreffer, partner at MHA MacIntyre Hudson, said: “We have taken part and sponsored the event for a number of years. My staff always look forward to an enjoyable evening and the event does raise a substantial sum of money each year for local charities.”
Quiz goers will receive a drink on arrival, ploughman’s supper, and free entry into a prize draw to win a PO Ferries voucher plus the chance to win a £100 cash prize for correctly answering an on the spot question.
The popular Spitfire charity bar - which makes a huge difference to the charity pot every year - will be fully stocked courtesy of Shepherd Neame with drinks served by Barclays bank staff. Barclays has also vowed to match funds raised pound for pound ensuring a huge cash payout for good causes.
