One lucky contestant taking part in June’s KM Big Charity Quiz will have the chance to win a pair of free tickets for the Eurostar.
In the quiz’s Win in 10 game, one quiz-goer chosen by lottery will be given 10 seconds to answer a question, and if they do so correctly they will win a pair of return tickets to Lille, Paris or Brussels.
The quiz takes place at the Ashford International Hotel on Friday June 21, with the money raised being shared by Kentish Express charity of the Year the Stroke Association, KM Charity Team services supporting child literacy and road safety, and one good cause chosen via prize draw.
Event coordinator Dominic Comins said: “Thanks to the generosity of Eurostar, one Big Quiz participant could be heading to the Continent with their partner or bestie just for answering a single question correctly.
“But you’ve got to be in it to win it, so make sure you register a team before the event sells out.”
The quiz is open to teams of up to eight people, with doors opening at 6.20pm for a 7pm start.
There will also be a raffle featuring Hornby collectables, and any organisation entering a minimum of three teams will be presented with a prize for their best-performing group.
In addition, Shepherd Neame will provide the drinks for a special charity bar, with Barclays match-funding all its sales.
The quiz is also supported by Ashford-based law firm Hallett & Co, Specsavers and Office Angels.
The entry price for the event is £65 per eight-person team, but there is a £10 discount when you book online using the discount code KMNEWS19.
