Quiz fans have just days left to secure their table and swot up for the Ashford heat of the KM Big Charity Quiz.
Teams will descend on the Ashford International Hotel this Friday (June 15) to compete for the KM Big Quiz Trophy and a place in the county final.
Along with bragging rights, each member of the winning team will also get £150 worth of DFDS Seaways vouchers.
Organised by the KM Charity Team the quiz is raising funds for the Kentish Express newspaper's charity of the year Ashford Volunteer Centre.
The centre has been operational for 40 years and works with some 200 volunteers. Services include information, advice, and befriending for the over 50s.
Activities include woodwork, gardening, a board games club, and a volunteering scheme for 16 to 25-year-olds called the Can Do Crew.
“Volunteering connects people to their community and I think it does literally save lives,” said centre manager Beth Peal.
Also taking a share of the charity pot will be services supporting child literacy and road safety plus one charity chosen via prize draw.
The KM Big Quiz boasts a raffle featuring Hornby collectables, a charity bar supplied by Shepherd Neame, and a mini-quiz to win a pair of Eurostar tickets.
Volunteers from Office Angels will act as runners and Barclays will double all funds raised. Specsavers, and Hallett and Co Solicitors are also backing the event.
