For the first time this year, there will be a special cash prize for the winning team at the Medway heat of the KM Big Charity Quiz.
£5 of the cost of reserving each table will go into a pot of prize money to be shared by the winning team.
Organised by the Charity Team, the quiz takes place at the St George Hotel in Chatham on Friday, March 6.
It will raise money for Gravesend and Dartford Messenger charity of the year the YMCA, Medway Messenger charity partner, baby-loss support organisation Abigail's Footsteps, and the KM Charity Team's work promoting literacy and green travel in schools.
And once again temps from Office Angels will be in attendance, providing vital support services and helping to ensure that identifying the winning team is as easy as possible.
Office Angels’ Lindsay Prescott said: “We look forward to taking part in the KM Big Quiz every year.
“It’s always such a fun evening, raising money for some fantastic good causes, and gives our temps a great opportunity to put themselves in the shop window and make a positive impression with potential employers.
“With only two weeks left until this year’s Medway quiz, I would urge teams to book their tables now so they don’t miss out.”
In addition to the cash prize, the winning team – along with the top nine runners-up will qualify for the Big Quiz county final at the end of the year.
Contestants will also have the chance to win a Hornby gift set and a special cross-Channel DFDS voucher in a fundraising raffle.
There will be special prizes for the top teams of any organisation booking a minimum of three tables, the health and care sector, and local government and schools.
The Southern Co-op will be providing hampers full of goodies for the winners, as well as bar snacks to be purchased from the fundraising Spitfire bar stocked by Shepherd Neame.
The quiz is also supported by Specsavers and IMP Studio & Live.
Quiz tables for teams of up to eight people cost £65. See www.kmcharityteam.co.uk/challenge/bigquiz for bookings and information.
